Betty Ellis

After being inspired to start playing by Keith Rose (now there's a unique experience! - Only joking!) Betty joined Tewkesbury band in 1979. Betty has played Baritone, Euphonium, Eb Bass, Bb Bass, Glockenspiel and is currently playing Tenor Horn.

During her time in the band, Betty has been Chairman for 3 years, Secretary for 8 years and is now enjoying being an 'ordinary' band member (if they exist!).

Her musical talent obviously comes from her Grandfather who had an orchestra in the 1920's and made violins!
